JAMES HARTMAN
BIOGRAPHY

James Hartman, 5th dan, has more than 25 years of Shotokan karate training and teaching experience. He is currently a member of the Central Illinois Shotokan Karate Association (CISKA) Shihankai and is the CISKA Technical Chairman.

He is a Senior Instructor in the CISKA, and has won state, regional, and national level competitions. He also had articles published in Shotokan Karate Magazine.

Hartman is an officer with the Peoria, Illinois Police Department, and is their Defensive Tactics and Master Firearms Instructor.

His first DVD is Shotokan MASTER Seminars: The Keys to Kata Training.
