BIOGRAPHY

Rick Brewer, 6th dan, a noted karate writer who has had articles published in numerous periodicals worldwide, is currently celebrating 40 years of training and teaching Shotokan karate. Brewer also served as Technical Editor of the book The Complete Idiots Guide® to Karate.

Currently, he is the Chief Instructor of the Central Illinois Shotokan Karate Association (CISKA) headquartered in Pekin, Illinois, and is a member of the American Shotokan Karate Alliance (ASKA) Shihankai (Council of Masters).

His first DVD is Shotokan MASTER Seminars: Teaching Distance & Timing.
