We utilize Postal Service Priority Mail International for most international shipments. The average time-in-transit to most countries is 6-10 days. Rates for Express Mail International start at $28.00, and the average time-in-transit is 3-5 days. In either shipping method, your local postal service takes charge of delivery, which may be delayed due to local postal regulations and/or customs regulations and/or inspections. We do not ship via surface mail because of the long delays in transit times (up to 8 weeks or more). Under certain circumstances, your package may be sent by an alternate Air Mail level of service and you may be charged an additional amount for necessary extra services (i.e. Registered, Certified, etc.), however you will have the opportunity to confirm any additional cost via e-mail prior to processing and shipment. We will be glad to quote for you other shippers (such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL), but please understand that their rates are dramatically higher - in some cases, triple the rate of the USPS - not including customs, duties, VAT, admin charges, etc.
CUSTOMS INFORMATION
Customer is responsible for any and all duties and/or VAT and/or customs fees and/or home country regulations. TamashiiPress.com must declare the exact contents, weights, and values of each item in each package sent to any foreign country. It is impossible for us to pre-determine which packages will be subject to duties, taxes, fees, etc. and what these amounts may be.
All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. In addition, for most countries, there is an administrative fee that is collected from the recipient to cover the costs of clearing the item through customs and collecting duties and taxes. If you want to learn what the threshold or duties and taxes are for a particular country, you can visit the World Customs Organization, or visit the website of your country's customs or postal service.
Please note that customs agencies can generally hold a package for up to 30 days. Our experience has shown that the wait is usually only a day or two, and rarely longer than 1 week. Our "Time-in-Transit" estimates are based on what our shipping provider tells us should be the length of time it takes for your country's customs service to receive the package after we ship it. We cannot control how long customs will hold a package, nor can we be responsible for your country's postal service delivery schedule. We suggest that you contact your local postal station or customs office if you have questions.

You will receive e-mails from the U.S. Postal Service regarding the status of your delivery. The USPS does not keep or otherwise use your e-mail address for any other purpose and will not share your information. Depending on the service level for your package, the sender is either: "U.S._Postal_Service_" U.S._Postal_Service@usps.com or usps_shipping_services@usps.com and the subject line is either: USPS Shipment Info for followed by a string of numbers or Click-N-Ship(R) Notification.
